Hi David, thank you for the reply and clarification. I have been using
several sub-directories in the documents directory basically to limit
the size of each of those directories so that backing up those
directories on external media would be convenient. This approach was
probably relevant about two decades ago when the storage capacity of
external storage media used to be quite limited.
