[EP-tech] Re: IRStats2 embedding stats in abstract

Hi Everyone,

Would anyone be able to offer some guidance on embedding stats on abstract pages please? I am trying to embed stats on the abstract pages by following the instructions at http://wiki.eprints.org/w/IRStats_2 ; I have the ReCollect plugin installed so the following phrase was added to the bottom of the file indicated below (before closing the citation):

--------------------------------------------------------------
      		 /usr/share/eprints/archives/<REPOID>/cfg/citations/eprint/recollect_summary_page.xml :
						<epc:phrase ref="lib/irstats2:embedded:summary_page:eprint:downloads"/>
--------------------------------------------------------------

I get the following error when I regenerate the abstracts and restart apache and the abstracts page only show a blank graph i.e. no stats:
--------------------------------------------------------------
		Writing abstracts
		missing parameter "eprintid" when making phrase "lib/irstats2:embedded:summary_page:eprint:downloads"
--------------------------------------------------------------

I have followed the discussion in in the thread “IRStats2 embedding stats in abstract” (at http://www.eprints.org/tech.php/21221.html) but I am not seeing a confirmed resolution there.

I also tried the suggestion to add the following to the IRSTATS2 config file (z_irstats2.pl) leaves the abstract stats similarly blank:
--------------------------------------------------------------
$c->{plugins}->{"Screen::EPrint::Box::Stats"}->{params}->{disable} = 0; #enable Stats boxes
$c->{plugins}->{"Screen::EPrint::Box::Stats"}->{appears}->{summary_bottom} = 200; # show them at the bottom of the summary page (in position '100' - see the link below for more details)
$c->{plugins}->{"Screen::EPrint::Box::Stats"}->{appears}->{summary_right} = undef; # not in their default location on the right
$c->{plugins}->{"Screen::EPrint::Box::Stats"}->{params}->{render_collapsed} = 1; #by default hide content with
--------------------------------------------------------------

Our environment details are:
	→CentOS Linux release 7.1.1503 (Core)
	→eprints-3.3.14-1.el6.noarch
	→ReCollect - version 1.2.0
	→IRStats2 - version 1.0.1
	→ Altmetric - version 1.0.5

Can anyone offer any advice about where I may be going wrong or what else I may need to do to get this working please?

Many thanks,
Kahena
