[EP-tech] Accessing Eprints via API or endpoint

Morning all!

Bit of a hypothetical one; I’m looking at our research systems on a broader level at the moment rather than focussing down specifically on EPrints. One thing I’m looking at is the possibility of drawing information from EPrints into a separate layer so that I can combine it with data from other systems to do “stuff” with (like I said, much hypothetical!)

Is there a prescribed way of pulling data from an EPrints system via API or Endpoint? In an ideal world I’d like to be able to pass some kind of query through via this method so that I can make sure I’m getting the data back I’d need.

Andrew
