[EP-tech] indexer fails with 'Unknown character collection'

Hi all,

even after running `epadmin reindex repoID eprint` I receive some error lines from engaged xapian 1.4.11-1 on a Debian box:
Syntax Warning: Mismatch between font type and embedded font file
Syntax Error: Unknown character collection 'TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT-TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT'

Finally the document(s) doesn't get indexed, i.e. the database check fails :(
eprints@repoID:~$ ./site_lib/bin/check_xapian repoID --path=/usr/share/eprints/archives/repoID/var/xapian
Smartmatch is experimental at ./site_lib/bin/check_xapian line 327.

Error: No Xapian database directory at '/usr/share/eprints/archives/repoID/var/xapian'.

How to overcome this trouble?
