 about the last sentence on the slides about duplication inefficiencies, you can take a look to ocfl which tries to address them (it is a sort of meta container for bagit).

I think that an EPrints-Archivematica integration/export plugin could benefit the EPrints community and I hope that we can collaborate on the identification and discussion of issues and the implementation.
