[EP-tech] Origin of <pin>

<pin> was used in phrase files because it was a handy short word. The
actual origin was from "lynchpin"s in spells in the Roger Zelazny
"Amber" series, and the role-play game based on it.

I'd entirely forgotten until the word popped up on the list today.
