[EP-tech] Status virtual datasets?
You?re right.? It?s where editorial oversight is exercised.? Editors can view these as a collection, check they?re fine, and then make them live.? Sorry, I have no prize for you ?

Subject: [EP-tech] Status virtual datasets?
I?ve had a question from our databases team, who are currently interrogating EPrints at a database level, regarding the status field in EPrints with the values Archive, Buffer, Deletion and Inbox. In particular they were questioning the buffer status ? I said I believe that this represents records that have been submitted but not moved into the live archive yet ? am I right? (do I win a prize?)
Thanks in advance!
