[EP-tech] Re: EPrints Wiki Upgrade

le sigh....

OK, I've disabled user registration.  New registrations will have to be done by hand by admins...

I've rolled back to when it was upgraded, meaning we've lost any changes over the last few days, but it now looks like the wiki, and all the spam accounts and edits have been erased.

Sorry to say, but now I've recovered my password, logging in to the wiki (on Chrome) to update a page (tried on several different pages) presents me with pages like the attached image, with a distorted text box with the message:

(Fatal exception of type MWException)

Also, it appears that some delightful person has updated the main page https://wiki.eprints.org/w/index.php/Main_Page with some spamvertising...

Welcome to Monday!

Subject: [EP-tech] EPrints Wiki Upgrade

Hi All

The wiki has been upgraded and migrated to a new server.  Hooray!

One improvement is that login is done via https, but I haven't been able to sort out a proper certificate yet.  You may get a cert warning when you log in.

Finally, authentication is now done locally rather than via EPrints LDAP.  You will need to use the 'forgot password' link to access your accounts.
