[EP-tech] Re: Default date values

It remaps the existing values in the default "date" and "date_type" fields.

Then once you've remapped (one time batch operation**) it will decide which is the "best" date to write back into date and date_type - so you don't have to change all your citations, export plugins etc.

** although if something gets imported it will be remapped on the fly

I¹ll have a look - my only concern is losing any data we already have in
our fields, unless there is a way to remap existing fields?
