sorry, there are exactly 3091 (sic!) authors.
maybe this impress you a bit more for an answer.
EP is handling this amount of authors quit well (depence on CPU, RAM,
...) (springer isn't doing it better!).
but how you handling this in the institution?
and how you handling this for the descripted error?
