Indeed.

Can't the drives be extracted and mounted onto another machine (such as on your new hardware)? It'd be a first good step.

If not, then I do have the people available to input old the eprints into the new version.  The only issue with that is that the URLs MUST match the original ones.  This new machine will eventually replace the original, once everything is migrated over.   Is there anyway to directly edit the eprint id of a deposit?

Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
