[EP-tech] Re: IRstats2 - creatos_name (no id) results in HASH(0x...) in set and non-grouping of resources

It was more inconsistencies in our author names - things like “Jones, M” and “Jones, M.”…

Bring on the ORCID’s! :o)

No worries.

process_stats --uninstall should remove all the irstats2 tables :)

Seb.

Thanks for the tip - I crowbarred it onto our dev server - but will try your method on the live one - and let you know.

And thanks Seb - this resolved the issue.
It doesn't clean our data up - which is the next hurdle :o)

Cheers,
John

Hi
checksum errors on the bazaar can be resolved by going to the developer
tools tab (on the admin bazaar page). Then select "edit" and then "save
and return" - this should generate a new checksum for you (you don't
need to actually edit anything).

N.B. I have used this trick to allow me to disable & uninstall stuff but
I have not tried it for an upgrade so please let me know if it works for
that too.

Thanks
Peter

We don’t have ids for authors, so have a set configured: # just using creators_name { 'name' => 'creators', 'field' => 'creators', 'use_ids' => 0, }, This results in same-authors not getting grouped - the reason looks like the 'name' hash isn't turned into something that can be compared.
