[EP-tech] Re: Eprints REF2014 - 1.3

Hi Seb,

Yep that round about sums up the issue I was having, I do apologies. I am not using the REF plugin I have just been giving the task of setting it up and did not realise you had to do these features before granted access,

Thanks again for the fast response Seb,

Kind regards,

David Whitehead.

Hi David,

Perhaps you need to :

(1) create a benchmark (Manage records > REF Benchmarks > ... )
(2) give yourself the role "ref/select" (Profile > Edit > Roles)
(3) affiliate your account with a UoA (Profile > REF Staff Information >
UoA)

Could you give this a try (or let me know if you have done this already)?

Kind regards,
Seb

What I mean by this is the link to the REF screen itself does not appear with all the others i.e. "Manage deposits", "Profile" etc etc. I did also try to manually go to the REF screen with the address "cgi/users/home?screen=REF::Overview" like on the dev box running on 1.2.2 of the REF2014 plugin but it just gives me the message "You may not view this screen REF::Overview". This is on a clean install of 3.3 and 1.3 plugin, Hope this helps,

The plugin itself is not working and the REF2014 link that should appear does not, but when I originally did this same process two weeks ago on a different machine and it was REF2014 1.2.2 everything worked as it should.
