Liam,

Have you spoken with Steve Byford from Jisc about Pubs router? It could be a worthwhile conversation?

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the interest so far in the credit plugin!

I have raised a pull request at https://github.com/eprintsug/creators_roles/pull/2 for thoughts and feedback:

Image removed by sender.

Update includes: New input control that can be placed beside creators Support for search Support for SWORD deposit Support for Export in XML

github.com

It has support for inputting credit roles via an input panel (hopefully a screenshot is attached to the pull request), search, exporting Eprints XML and importing via SWORD. Internally I have stored the values in JSON format, but this should be pretty much transparent when using any of the functionality.

If you are the maintainer of a module that imports to Eprints, it would be great to hear from you as well as to if there is anything else you need from the module.

Finally, it has been written for Eprints 3.3 so it might need some changes for EPrints 3.4, I haven't had chance yet to work out what those changes are.

Hope this is useful to the community,

Thanks
Liam

Hi Liam,

This gets a 'yes' from me too 🙂

If other people 'round here are in the subset of (interested in CRediT) + (support Symplectic | Pure), we should probably have a chat at some point!

Cheers,

John

Yes, please share on github.com/eprintsug and then the community can figure out how it fits to their repository.

Thank you,

Martin

Hi everyone,

We have been doing some work on a plugin to enable the recording of CRediT roles (https://credit.niso.org/) alongside creators in EPrints. The code still needs a bit of polish, but should be ready for a general look soon.

The plugin is based on some early work by Michael Eadie at the University of Glasgow and I would like to thank him and Alan Stiles from the Open University for their help.

If you would be interested in using this plugin, could you let me know by replying to this thread?

Thanks

Liam
