[EP-tech] SRU Alma Marc Import

CAUTION: This e-mail originated outside the University of Southampton.
Hi,

We have developed an import plugin that allows to carry out a search in an SRU enabled Alma catalog and to import catalog records.
It is currently used in University of Zurich's ZORA repository and integrates with swisscovery, a national platform that brings together scientific information from around 490 libraries in Switzerland.

Code and some instructions are shared on https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Feprintsug%2FSRU_AlmaMarc_Import&data=05%7C01%7Ceprints-tech%40ecs.soton.ac.uk%7C86ecd80ade104bc6846c08daad262ec3%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0%7C0%7C638012677167941306%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C2000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=HyA4q3SkyDWb8ZZK6%2B5HTqD%2F3onVusZLv7Q41NO3gcE%3D&reserved=0

The plugins in this package were designed as generic as possible. If you want to make use of it, you will have to adapt the (large) configuration files for your EPrints and Alma environment to match for the data schemas of both sides and the cataloging rules used in our institution.

Kind regards,

Martin
