[EP-tech] solved: controlling security settings

CAUTION: This e-mail originated outside the University of Southampton.

Hi David,

following https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fstackoverflow.com%2Fquestions%2F52998331%2Fimagemagick-security-policy-pdf-blocking-conversion&data=04%7C01%7Ceprints-tech%40ecs.soton.ac.uk%7Cf031375b7a5944b2203b08d8b7c0d956%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0%7C0%7C637461386186212197%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=IP81qFVmB71%2BVuz54mNf8qVOE2vK3mE5SqtfJ3rO588%3D&reserved=0
I am using now /etc/ImageMagick-*/policy.xml
containing
<policy domain="module" rights="read" pattern="{PS,PS2,PS3,EPS,PDF,XPS}" /> with success
after ensuring no latter setting overrides this line :)

Thanks for your pointers
Thomas
