Dear All,
*Registration is now open for the Jisc UK ORCID hackday:*

<https://www.jisc.ac.uk/events/orcid-hackday-24-apr-2018>
The event is free to attend but booking is required. The event is open
to Jisc UK ORCID consortium members and non-consortium members, but if
there is high demand for spaces priority may be given to existing
consortium members.
*Who is the event for?*:
Anyone managing or involved in delivering services which depend on ORCID
IDs or would benefit from having clear identifiers for researchers.
In particular both developers and non-developers who
? work within repository or CRIS teams, identity teams,
research output management teams
? are interested in linking researchers with their
contributions (publications, data, other)
? are involved in services for HE which are based on
researcher identifiers
Jisc provides technical and community support to ORCID UK consortium
members. <https://www.jisc.ac.uk/orcid> The ORCID API offers potential
for improving processes within institutions and this hackday offers the
opportunity to work with others in the community to identify and develop
potential use cases.
*Input into use cases*:
Some ideas for use cases to be explored on the day are being documented
at https://bit.ly/2I6kqBN for people to comment on and add to, prior to
the event. Suggested areas so far include delegating ORCID tokens, CORE,
IRUS and altmetrics.
*Please register to attend as soon as possible. *
