[EP-tech] Antwort: Re: Import DOI Issue

You may test as here:

curl "http://doi.crossref.org/openurl?pid={useyourpidhere}&noredirect=true&id=doi:10.1002/jor.23146"

or

curl "http://doi.crossref.org/openurl?pid={useyourpidhere}&noredirect=true&id=10.1002/jor.23146"

Works. Is something else wrong in your DOI import plugin?

Best regards,

Martin

Hi

> Have you tried following the DOI in a browser to be sure it is valid? (e.g.
MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "doi.org." claiming to be https://doi.org./10.<whatever_your_DOI_is> )
I tried several times last week with several DOIs. The DOIs are
definitely correct.

e.g.
10.5194/amt-2016-329
10.5194/acp-2016-702
10.1016/j.atmosenv.2016.03.048

I also validated the DOIs with
http://doi.org
The papers are also not that new (July to Nov 2016) as Jonathan mentioned.

Best regards

This fits with the "unhandled warning" message you have. A route might be to look at what you are getting back and see if there is code in place to handle it. The other thing they said was that they were unable to replicate it and thought it might have been related to the doi being very new in the case we provided.
