Dear colleagues,

I hope that some of you may find the below job opportunity at the Glasgow School of Art of interest!

With best wishes,

Nicola

Research Information Coordinator (0.8 FTE)

The Glasgow School of Art – Research & Doctoral Studies

Permanent

Grade 5 £25,513 – £29,552 per annum, pro rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Glasgow School of Art’s Research and Doctoral Studies team, as we continue to develop our repository and researcher support services for scholarly communications and research data management.

As Research Information Co-ordinator, you will have operational responsibility for the technical infrastructure of the RADAR institutional repository, and for reporting.  You will promote and develop RADAR as a facility to showcase the GSA’s research outputs, and support researchers with open access publishing and compliance, and research data management planning.  You will develop researchers’ capacity to store, manage and preserve locally created research data (both physical and digital), and provide advice and expertise on information policy issues, preservation strategies and the re-use of data, including documentation, one to one support, workshops and other teaching activities.

You will have a good understanding of research activity in the creative arts and institutional repository management, with strong IT skills, interpersonal skills, and an ability to work individually and as part of team, to tight deadlines. You will have an ability to utilise external networks, including organisations such as Jisc, the DCC and the wider repository environment.
