******** Apologies for cross-posting ********

The Agricultural Information Management Standards (AIMS) Community [1], is pleased to announce a new webinar entitled "AKstem service: supporting AGRIS data providers in publishing their content to AGRIS" [2]. The session will take place on the 18th of September 2015 - 11:00 Rome Time [3] and will be presented by Effie Tsiflidou, librarian archivist and part of the AGRIS Data Processing Unit of Agro-Know [4].

The aim of the webinar is to present the new online service desk [5] powered by AKstem service [6] that facilitates the submission of AGRIS data provider's collections to AGRIS, providing an improved interaction with AGRIS data processing unit. Additionally, in this webinar we are presenting the ways and methods that AGRIS data providers can contribute their bibliographic information (metadata) to AGRIS. The webinar is addressing to both new and old AGRIS data providers, as it will be an opportunity to gain a better understanding on the new service and its functionalities.

The session is open to anyone but places are limited. If you are interested to attend the webinar, send an e-mail to AIMS@fao.org, containing the following information: your name, affiliation, role and country.
