[EP-tech] Re: Date time on eprints

Hi John,

We have made the change to the code and are presently testing it. Not sure that I understand the misbehavior that jploski made on the 4 of February thought. But we will monitor the thing as we deploy it.

Thanks for your help,

Pierre

Hi,
See: https://github.com/eprints/eprints/issues/194 and https://github.com/eprints/eprints/issues/174
There's a proposed patch, but not an official resolution (as far as I can see. There are some other issues documented in that thread).

Cheers,
John

We are in our final stage of our migration and we have this annoying problem : when creating a new eprint, the date/time is UTC (4 hours ahead of our local time). Our system time is correct so there must be a setting somewhere stuck on UTC.
