[EP-tech] Re: Plugins 101

Hi,
Firstly, from that page:
<EPrints_root>/archives/<archive_name>cfg/plugins/EPrints/Plugin/Export
should be
<EPrints_root>/archives/<archive_name>/cfg/plugins/EPrints/Plugin/Export (forward slash after archive_name).

Secondly, if you haven't done so already, restart Apache.
Third, check is that there's nothing untoward in the Apache error log.

If none of that helps, let us know and I'll think on!
Cheers,
John

Subject: [EP-tech] Plugins 101

Hello all!

Thanks to those who offered assistance to me the other day with setting up EPrints in a VirtualBox environment. All working now!

Right, next question – I’ve been following the tutorials on the EPrints Wiki, specifically how to write plugins for the system and I have to say I’ve come up against another brick wall. I’m looking at the Hello World Export Tutorial here: http://wiki.eprints.org/w/Contribute:_Plugins/ExportPluginsHello.

Having followed the instructions, I’m not seeing the option in the export drop down in EPrints. Is there something I’m missing?
