[EP-tech] Searching multibyte characters for Eprints3.3

Dear Eprints experts,

I recently upgraded my eprints repository from 3.1.3 to 3.3.11.
Since then, I get no results for searching database if I try to search
multibyte characters.
I found resources about this issue in the following page.

But it seems to be obsolete for version 3.3.

Are there anyone who succeed to search multibyte characters for
Eprints3.3?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
