[EP-tech] Re: EPrints 3.3 upgrade, edit views

Hi All,

I found what the cause of the issue is but I am struggling to find where it should connect. The problem is that we are using eprint_creators_browse_id instead of eprint_creators_id. The original repository was modified and updated by epservices and I assume
I am missing an update they did when editing a file for this process. I am looking for the location of where they add in the eprint_creators_browse_id. However I am struggling to even find where the file is located that deals with simply putting in the normal eprint_creators_id for an eprint record.

Does anyone know?

Kind regards,

David Whitehead

Subject: [EP-tech] EPrints 3.3 upgrade, edit views

Hi All,

We have just recently completely migrated over to the new 3.3 version from 3.1, everything seems to be working very well which is good. The only issue which has arrived at the moment is if an admin goes to edit a live EPrint and then saves or even cancels the changes, the browse view is removed for this item and if I generate_views it does still not come back.

I double checked by manually going to the EPrint id itself and I can perfectly see the EPrint manually but I seem to loose it in the views after an edit attempt, I was wondering if anyone has come across this before and knows what the issue could be?

Any help you could supply would be of great use, thanks everyone,

Kind regards,

David Whitehead.
