[EP-tech] Re: VM requirements


Hi,

Using Linux is strongly recommended over Windows. The Perl/Apache stack
available for Windows can be troublesome, in addition to being more
difficult to get dependent tools working (e.g. for indexing documents).

(You can run EPrints on Windows if you really have to, it just tends to
cause more headaches ...)
