[EP-tech] Moving files to documents

Hi,
I've just been made aware of a thesis on our system that has one 'document' with 11 files attached to it - all of which are PDFs, and should actually be 'documents' in their own right, rather than 'files'.

Is there an easy way to promote a file from being a file to being a document?
