Dear all,
we are going to update our thesis repository (https://webthesis.biblio.polito.it), an old 3.3.15 eprints.
Now this eprints gets new records only by batch upload from education environment [when a students graduates with a master's degree a batch automatically adds in the repository his thesis record (metadata & fulltext)]
I would like to change the eprints structure removing the local file and getting it 'on the fly' via ws from education environment. What i means is NOT adding a simple link to the attachment, we would add an attachment locally with the thumbnail and related
data needed but with the file remote. In this way we don't double the space needed (file on education environment AND on eprints server).
Do you think it's possible such an architecture ?
Best regards,
Paolo Tealdi
