[EP-tech] Showing file metadata on upload

Hi,

In *older* versions of EPrints, when you uploaded a file, the document metadata for the just-uploaded-file was shown by default.

 

This thread http://www.eprints.org/tech.php/16927.html discusses the issue, and I was about to create the same issue in Github.

Has anything been done in the last year to change the behaviour (so I don’t reinvent the wheel)?

Has anyone solved this in an elegant way (Florian)?
