[EP-tech] Re: How to make the Abstract field mandatory?

Dear Alex,

If I am not mistaken, you can change it in your workflow file.

Please go to the file "/opt/eprints3/archives/<YOUR_ARCHIVEID>/cfg/workflows/eprint/default.xml".

Then find the line with "abstract" which should be only one relevant line and look like:

	<component><field ref="abstract"/></component>

Please change to:

<component><field ref="abstract" required="yes"/></component>

Restart your apache, it should work. Good luck!

Best Wishes,
Jia

Subject: [EP-tech] How to make the Abstract field mandatory?

Hi All,

We are using EPrints 3.2.8 (Apple Crumble) [Born on 2011-06-20].

Would it be a simple matter to make the Abstract field mandatory? If so, how would I do it?

Best regards,

Alex
