Research Repositories

UCA Research OnlineUAL Research Online

UAL Research Online is the University of the Arts London's repository for research outputs. It contains metadata-only records, restricted access records, and fully open access items. UAL-RO was developed by the JISC-funded Kultur project in 2009, and runs on an eprints platform that has been customised for research in arts and design. The repository mainly contains multimedia objects (moving image, static image, sound, music, slideshows, archived websites) as well as some text items.

Data Repositories

eResearch Archive Queensland DEEDIeRA - Department of Employment, Economic Development & Innovation (DEEDI) (Australia)

Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation archive of scientific and research publications. EPrints Services extended this repository to support archiving of datasets which included:

- integrating an FTP service allowing researchers to upload large files (>2GB)
- additional metadata to capture the temporal coverage of the data (eg. data collected from 2001 to 2004)
- additional metadata to capture the spatial coverage of the data (latitude / longitude coordinates)
- extending the repository search to search temporal / spatial coverage data
- providing the ability to display search results on a Google map

This repository is one of many harvested by the Australian National Data Service (ANDS) providing access to a collection of research resources from all research institutions in Australia.

eCrystals - Southampton is the archive for Crystal Structures generated by the Southampton Chemical Crystallography Group and the EPSRC UK National Crystallography Service.
