We have been working closely with Jisc on a number of activities this year. ORCID Following funding from Jisc, the ‘ORCID Support Advance’ Bazaar plugin is under development*. With the original ‘ORCID Support’ providing repositories with the basic infrastructure for storing and displaying ORCIDs, the ‘Advance’ version builds on this. As a result of changes at CrossRef, specifically to their DOI resolver service, we have recently identified that the popular Import from DOI option in EPrints has stopped working. We are pleased to announce a minor update to the REF Compliance Checker plugin with some valuable improvements to help institutions track and report on compliance. This includes: Item ID and Compliance columns have been added to the CSV report export to indicate the EPrint ID and a ‘Y’ or ‘N’ value to confirm whether or not the record is REF compliant The ‘REF Compliance – Exception’ reports now no longer display non-compliant records in green, incorrectly suggesting compliance.  Both non-compliant and exceptions records are now displayed in red A fix to the automatic embargo length calculation when the embargo length was not an exact numberRead More →

The 11th International Conference of Repositories is fast approaching and once again our representatives from EPrints will be there. On Tuesday 14th June Les Carr, Director of EPrints, will be on the ‘Repository Rodeo‘ panel immediately after the opening keynote.  Les will also be opening the EPrints Interest Group track in the afternoon discussing EPrints 3.4.
