Thanks Richard.

Moodle seems to use MagpieRSS to handle RSS.  However, I have used Magpie
for adding EPrints RSS feeds to website pages, with no problems at all.

It's not the URL either, since the feedburner one works OK.

So, it must be something internal to Moodle.  I will add the bug to
http://tracker.moodle.org/ , as you suggest.
