but eprints 3.1 has view that don't display counts on people view and 
has ordering broken in search results.

If you insert some papers and do a search, it does not order it as it 
should.

Also 3.1 can't handle correctly some characters, and editing them make 
it loose also the correct one. For example if you put a "à" in the 
abstract and a "beta" (the character, not the word), save, edit it, 
the 
"à" is replaced with a couple of wrong characters. If you have only 
the 
"à", it get it right.

At least on debian lenny.
