This is a multi-part message in MIME format. Hi Yuri and List,In relation to my previous query about showing different ↵ subject tree for normal browse and browse for thesis only, I found a chunk of ↵ code around line 411 of the generate_view script of previous version which is ↵ different than the code of current version (i.e. 3.0.5).And bringing this code ↵ into the 3.0.5 script seems to do what I wanted to do!!!I am not sure if this ↵ code is from ePrints team or our previous programmer ;- whatever the case may ↵ be, if anyone is interested in it, we are happy to share ↵ it!ThanksRanju,NUIM,Ireland.----- Original Message -----From: Yuri <yurj AT ↵ alfa.it>Date: Friday, September 26, 2008 12:40 pmSubject: Re: [EP-tech] ↵ views for thesis onlyTo: "EPrints.org Technical List" ↵ <eprints-tech AT ecs.soton.ac.uk>> *** ↵ http://www.eprints.org/tech.php/id/%3CEMEW-> ↵ k8PCYUd6d92d0b7b07285c34682b99a3a1bc7a-48DCC799.6020408%40alfa.it%3E> *** ↵ EPrints community wiki - http://wiki.eprints.org/> > Ranju Upadhyay ha ↵ scritto:> > Hi Yuri,> >> > Thanks a lot. This is something I ↵ have tried. The problem with > this is > > that the first page of view ↵ looks like as if one were browsing > by > > "thesis_type" ↵ rather than by "subjects" but the view is > actually under > ↵ > the heading "subjects".In the first view I was trying to > ↵ show only > > the portion of subject tree that has theses in its > ↵ branches and count > > at the top be of theses only and not of everything ↵ that is in > the > > repository. Is there some way of using filter or ↵ something > where one > > could say "type is thesis".> ↵ >> > BTW when you say link only the one that I want to be showed, > ↵ what do > > you mean?Any example!!> > a link to the view ↵ /type/<my_type>>ATTACHMENT: message.html!
