The data in the eprints 3.0 was itself migrated from eprints 2.3 I export the data from the 3.0 server using the command ~eprints/bin/export oldarchive eprint XML > old-eprint.xml and then import on the 3.1 server using the command ~eprints/bin/import newarchive --migration --enable-web-imports XML old-eprint.xml When I do this I get a lost of messages complaining about unknown phrases such as "document_typename_pdf". Also some of the documents are restricted so the web import just gets the login in page. Is there someway of doing the export so that the files are used rather than urls or telling the old server to allow the new server access to restricted files? Cheers Anthony Worrall
