This is a multi-part message in MIME format. Hi Les, Thanks for this I thought it was in version 3.0.5 I don't want to upgrade just yet, so I'll try to add these. I guess I'll need to add the tables too. If you can offer any hints on what needs doing that would be most welcome. Thanks. Regards, Malcolm. ________________________________ From: owner-eprints-tech AT ecs.soton.ac.uk on behalf of Les Carr Sent: Mon 28/04/2008 13:29 To: EPrints.org Technical List Subject: Re: [EP-tech] Assigning roles to creators In EPrints 3.1 we have created a new field 'Contributor' that is just like an ↵ author, except that it has an extra subfield. As well as name & id there is ↵ also a 'type' which is a fixed set of values taken from the "MARC Relator ↵ Terms" and including "Curator of an Exhibition". You can if you want to add these to an EPrints 3.0 repository without too much ↵ effort - or you can upgrade to 3.1 just as quickly. -- Les On 28 Apr 2008, at 12:49, Malcolm Bodger wrote: Hi, I'm told that in Eprints version 3 we are able to assign a role for a creator ↵ of a work from a dropdown list.
