Eprints guys - I consider this a bug (with the underlying logic of subjects) - ↵ what are your thoughts..? -See recent list communication between Joseph Reeves and myself. I'm using 3.1.1 - but I If a subject is added (e.g. via a bulk import) that doesn't exist in the ↵ subject tree, you cannot remove it via the editing interface. It is displayed in the item abstract page, and also item admin page (where the ↵ value is shown as '??Subject.Code??'). If you go into the item and edit it, the erroneous entry is not rendered and ↵ therefore cannot be removed by a web-based user. Hope this makes sense?
