[EP-tech] Problems with accented characters in subject search

Hi all,

I have a subject named "Física".

In the subject input screen when I input "física" in the search text ↵
box 
and click "search" I get "física" in the text box and no ↵
results. On 
the other hand, when I input "fisica" (no accent) in the search text ↵
box 
I get "fisica" in the text box and the expected results (including ↵
the 
result with accent - "física").

Have anyone experienced this same problem? Can you help me make this 
work as expected?
