http://mailman.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailman/listinfo/eprints-tech *** EPrints community wiki - http://wiki.eprints.org/ Dear list's members, We are on the way here to complete an upgrade from eprints 2.3.13 on an CentOS4/i386 architecture to eprints 3.1.1 on a CentOS5/x86_64 architecture. On the browse views pages, we're now facing a french characters encoding problem. For an example, please take a look at : http://eprints3.uqam.ca/view/year/2003.html That's strange because we didn't face this problem when we tried Eprints-3.0.x few weeks ago. I would like someone to confirm me that this situation really needs a fix that implies the installation XML::GDOME. I just read few minutes ago on http://wiki.eprints.org/w/Installing_Eprints_3_on_Fedora_Core_7 that "GDOME does not work with x86_64". I wish I can avoid the reinstallation of my system. Best regards. __________________________ Stephanie Lanthier Universite du Quebec a Montreal lanthier.stephanie AT uqam.ca
